IT’S KIMBERLY
9.20.08- We just finished the best trip ever to Germany & then to London! We
did SO many television shows & interviews it was CRAZY!!! Thank you to ALL
our fans that made it out! You guys really are the greatest & are like an
extension of the PCD family. Without your love & support we wouldn’t exist.
I love you guys!!!
I’ve learned a lot over the past months. I know now more then ever that it’s
so important to have compassion & love for others. You never know what the
people around you are going through & whatever you have going on in your
life that makes you feel like a victim there is always someone out there or
even around you that has it worse than you. The key is figuring out how to
deal with your inner turmoil on your own & not take it out on the people
around you. You must stay grounded & in the moment. Surrender to your
surroundings & be thankful for everything you have & for the people in your
life.
My mom came out for our video shoot. It was only a couple of days but it’s
such a huge stepping stone in our mother, daughter relationship. There were
many things I held against her in my growing years that I had a grudge
against her for so many years. I find that when you are finally ready & able
you can find the forgiveness & give in to the guilt for all those pent up
feelings. When you are able to release it all, you free yourself up to
understanding why things that happened, happened. Finally, as hard &
sometimes as unsure as it feels we are able to pick up where we left off &
begin again. I never know for sure what our relationship will blossom into.
But establishing a relationship with my mom is a huge stepping stone in my
life. It’s so important to have that foundation in life.
“Work for forgiveness”

HI IT’S JESS
9.13.08- Hey Dolls & gents!
We are currently in Germany having an incredible dinner! We are so exhausted
because for the last two days we have been shooting a video for our next
single “Whatcha Think About That” featuring the one the only Missy Elliott!!
It was so much fun working with her. I can’t wait to see it & I can’t wait
for you to see it too! The concept was based on the old school PCD & I gotta
tell ya, Diane Martel (the director) really captured the essence of the
early stages of the Pussycat Dolls. I hope you love it as much as I loved
doing it!
On a sad note… My grandpa passed away this morning. He was really sick but
now he’s in heaven. If you have a moment today, could you say a prayer for
my family? It would mean the world to me. I love you, Grandpa. I’m gonna
miss you but I’ll see you in heaven someday…
Love Always,
Jess

Kimberly's Blog - The Pussycat Dolls are on a mission!!
We just shot our second video for this album for "What You Think About That"
featuring my dream collaboration....Missy Elliott!!!!! She was the coolest
person ever to work with. She has star quality like no other person I've
ever met. Her smile lights up the room!!! My dream of working with her came
true. Hehe
The new video is very....." old school pussycat dolls" meets new school PCD.
One of our fans even stopped by the set and we took time out to dance with
her.
My mom came into town and stayed with me during the video which was very
special. She said she never imagined the amount of work that goes into
making a video. By the time we wrapped I had many battle wounds and bruises
all over my body!!! Haha but I'm sure it will all be worth it. The second
day we started at 1:30pm and didn't wrap until 10am the next morning!!! We
all ran home to pack and get to the airport at 1pm. I slept the entire
flight from LA to Germany.
Right now.......we just arrived in Cologne, Germany. We're having the most
incredible Italian dinner for our sound guy's birthday. Happy birthday
Froggy!!!!
It was SO exciting to win our second moonman at the VMA's!! I hope you were
watching! I couldn't stop smiling for the rest of the night. It always means
so much to me to get recognition for dance. I've worked so hard at
perfecting my craft and only hope that it shows. Dancers don't ever get the
recognition they deserve and hopefully all the dance movies and videos will
bring awareness to such a beautiful art. Dancers sacrifice their bodies for
the sake of art. Although so many haters like to call us strippers and what
not. I'll never forget where I came from. All those years and hours of
training and stretching is paying off. :-)
I love you guys!!! We are out promoting the album and if we are close to you....pleeeease
show your support and keep PCD alive!!!! Doll Domination!!!!

Of course we gave you our tradition of big dance scenes. Ms. Missy Elliott
killed it ya'll... Like she always does. But I think Missy and PCD was the
perfect match up! What a legend she is, such an amazing experience to get to
work with the best!
Right now we're sitting at a beautiful Italian restaurant in Germany. I'm

then off to London to do press and TV shows... So close to the release!!!

Sun
August 29.
HANGING out with The Pussycat
Dolls is every man’s dream and every green-eyed woman’s nightmare.
The utterly gorgeous, stylish, talented five are also — damn it — good fun
to be around.
Apart from lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, individually, Kimberly Wyatt,
Ashley Roberts, Melody Thornton and Jessica Sutta might not be as
recognisable as Posh, Scary, Baby, Sporty and Ginger.
But they’re on another level when it comes to singing, slick performances
and jaw-dropping beauty.
In the past three days the American all-dancing and singing five have flown
from LA to London, and then on to Malaga in Spain, with SFTW along for the
ride.
Their hectic schedule has included back-to-back promotion for new album Doll
Domination, with interviews, photo-shoots and wardrobe changes and tonight
they play an outdoor MTV live show to a crowd of 250,000.
When we first meet at London’s Landmark Hotel, the girls look like they’ve
just walked off a magazine cover — no airbrushing required. Surrounded by
dozens of pairs of designer shoes that Carrie Bradshaw would die for, Nicole
smiles: I feel fine even though I haven’t a clue what time zone I’m in!
I never sleep. My mind is always working, thinking about what we’re doing
that day and the next. I’m just so excited we’re back. I feel very close to
this album. I worked so hard on it.
Doll Domination follows the girls’ hugely successful debut album PCD which
went three times platinum, sold eight million copies and produced five UK
Top 10 singles.
Doll Domination is Pussycat Dolls at the second level. We’ve grown up and
are now women ready to take over the world, declares Melody, clapping hands
adorned by some impressive bright yellow painted nails.
In Malaga the girls admit jet lag has finally hit them when we catch up in
the hotel bar in the afternoon. Not that you can tell.
Nicole, more stunning than ever in a calf-length, flowing fuchsia dress
which enhances her dark eyes and hair, reveals: I only went to bed at seven
this morning.
Doll Domination is musically more adventurous than the poppy PCD album.
Although the final tracklisting hasn’t been decided, I’m treated to 13
possible tracks.
There are two Sixties-style songs as well as urban, pop and hip-hop numbers.
Standout tracks include Love Gun, written by Cee-Lo Green; In Person, a
Timbaland-produced track written by The Clutch; Halo with Eighties synths,
and the catchy I Hate This Part which is the album’s best number.
Nicole says: It was great to work with Cee-Lo again as he put us on the map.
He was the one who did Don’t Cha, our breakthrough hit. Love Gun is such a
different style and flavour.
We’re a performance group as well as a singing group so visually, when we
heard the song, we could imagine how we’d perform it. When the concept of
the Pussycat Dolls first started, there were a lot of Sixties influences
around so it makes sense to do a Sixties-style song.
Kimberly adds: And I guess it’s quite topical now, with singers like Duffy
and Amy Winehouse having that Sixties vibe.
Other collaborators include Rodney Jerkins and Rock City who wrote new
single When I Grow Up — a satirical take on celebrity culture, One
Republic’s Ryan Tedder wrote and produced Whatever Happens, and R Kelly,
recently cleared of child pornography charges, and Polow on Out Of This Club.
Nicole says: It is R Kelly’s first track back and whatever has happened or
hasn’t happened, I cannot judge anybody. A hit is a hit and a song is a song
and R Kelly is undeniably an amazing songwriter. So it was an honour that he
wrote this song specifically for us.
And Ryan Tedder is a wonderful soul. I think it’s a very powerful song. For
their first album, the girls were a sextet but in February Carmit Bachar
quit the group to pursue a solo career.
Jessica says: It was a bit of a shock. But the five of us have really got it
together and have just been communicating better and growing really strong.
Kim adds: Carmit’s ambitious and she’s doing her own thing and we support
her, we love her, but there’s more room now.
But while the girls have lost a member it seems they may have gained an
extra person in Nicole’s boyfriend since February. British Formula 1 star
Lewis Hamilton has been with the girls throughout their travels.
Nicole tells me the British Press have been very supportive of her
relationship with their sporting hero. When they recently dined out at
swanky Japanese restaurant Nobu in Mayfair, the paparazzi took the photos
they needed then left them alone.
Nicole tells me: It is hard because I’m just trying to focus on the release
of the album and I really don’t want our personal life to be public, because
it’s hard enough to have a relationship as it is.
But I do understand that there will be times when we’ll be in the public eye.
She adds: To be honest, I don’t really understand what Lewis does but I’m
happy he’s not in the music industry.
We’re a good balance and we’re really happy at the moment, trying to make it
work in with our crazy lives.
While Nicole is loved-up with Lewis, the rest of the girls say they are
DESPERATE to find decent men — and those they usually meet are terrified of
them.
Melody says: My dad is already pressuring me. He said, ‘Find somebody and
get married!’ Just like that. But I think guys are intimidated by us,
especially when we’re all together.
Kimberly adds: And it’s difficult when we’re on the road because we’re
working so much and then sometimes you don’t know people’s intentions.
Likeably honest, the girls reveal hopes of achieving successful film careers
(Jessica and Ashley), writing a book (Kimberly), and following solo careers
(Melody and Nicole).
Nicole tells me that her solo album Her Name Is Nicole, which was due for
release last year, will follow Doll Domination.
Their commitment and hard work is clear to everyone when, later, they put on
a flawless professional live show for their fans.
Nicole says: We do work incredibly hard. It’s not just about the songs but
about the dancing. We’ve really put a lot of thought and work into a really
great high-energy show. It does take a lot out of you.
On the album I did every lead and background vocal with Melody doing some
leads and the girls doing additional vocals as well.
Melody adds: It just made sense to invest in Nicole as the front-runner and
she is one of the best.
Jessica says: "Taking care of yourself is really important. It’s just about
discipline. You need to make that commitment to yourself with diet and
exercise. It’s hard when you travel, though.
I was just laughing at myself because I thought, ‘Damn, I haven’t been in
the gym once on these last couple of tours!’ I get jet-lagged and my sleep
is really important but we don’t have a personal trainer with us.
The girls all agree that Nicole is the most motivated Pussycat Doll.
Melody says: She motivates us all. We’ll be in the city and there she is on
the treadmill for like an hour.
Nicole says: I always go jogging to keep my stamina up for singing. I want
it to sound like it does on the album. We want everything with the Pussycat
Dolls to be pure perfection.

Dance.About.com
September 2.
The Pussycat Dolls are an international sensation with a string of pop/R&B/dance
hits including "Don't Cha," "Buttons," and "Stickwitu." While lead doll
Nicole Scherzinger has released released a few solo singles, the dance world
is focused on Jessica Sutta who has scored number one singles working with
dance producers Paul Van Dyk ("White Lies") and Dave Aude ("Make It Last").
Also known as the pin-up doll, Jessica is a big fan of dance music and hopes
to become the next Kylie Minogue. With the release of Doll Domination and
the dancefloor friendly "When I Grow Up," we anxiously await "If I Was a
Man" and the rest of their club ready jams!
DJ Ron Slomowicz: So tell us about the album, how excited
are you about it?
Jessica Sutta: I'm so excited about it, it's so great. The album shows
everybody the mature side of the Pussycat Dolls. There's different realms of
music that we delved into and I think people are going to be really
surprised to see how much we've grown as a band and musically. I can't wait
for the world to hear it.
RS: How would you describe the sound of the album?
Jessica Sutta: It's definitely different from the first album. The album PCD
was more pop, this has more of an R&B flavor to it and gut-wrenching ballads
that you wouldn't expect. These are songs that I believe will have longevity
which I think is really rare today.
RS: Which songs do you sing on on the album?
Jessica Sutta: All the girls actually have their own solos. I have a song
called "If I Was A Man," and it comes with the extended edition of the
album. I'm really excited because it's the genre of dance and that's my
favorite type of music ever. So I'm really excited that I got to do that and
express myself on this album.
RS: Very cool. Did you write any songs on the album?
Jessica Sutta: I didn't get a chance to write on the album.
RS: "If I Was A Man" is a dance song, so who did you work
with production-wise on that?
Jessica Sutta: I worked with Ron Fair, he executive-produced it and his wife,
Stephanie Ridel, wrote it. It's really funny because it's a song about if
you were to switch places with your man and you were the man in the picture
and you were treating him the way he treats you. It's really a fun song to
sing, I can't wait to do it live.
RS: Awesome, awesome. The video for the first single "When I Grew Up" is
a lot of fun, how long did it take to shoot that video?
Jessica Sutta: It took about a week to prepare for it and about two days to
shoot it. It's funny because the scene when we were on the scaffolding, we
didn't have any permits on Hollywood Boulevard, you just can't do that. So
we'd do a take and then they'd have to let the traffic go by and it took a
while to do that. But it was so awesome, kind of renegade. It was just like
get up there and you can't miss us and each take counts, so it was really
fun.
RS: You mentioned you loved dance music, who's your favorite DJ?
Jessica Sutta: Gosh, I really like Axwell and Swedish Mafia. I found them in
Miami and they're so much fun. I love Kaskade and Dave Aude, who's a really
good friend of mine.
RS: Yes, I spoke to him and he said he loved working with you in the
studio.
Jessica Sutta: Dave, yes, he was the best. When I first started with the
Dolls singing, I wasn't really confident singing and he put me in the studio
and he really worked with me and he made me the singer I am today. I owe a
lot to Dave, he's a good guy.
RS: He also owes a lot to you, you gave him his first number one single!
Jessica Sutta: The universe works in magical ways, we pay back when we can.
He's the greatest and if I ever get to do my own solo album, which will be a
dance album like Kylie Minogue, I'd love to work with Dave again because
he's the best.
RS: Awesome. You also worked with Paul Van Dyk, what was that project
like?
Jessica Sutta: It was fun because it was the first project that I'd ever
done outside of the Dolls and he's a really cool dude. When I was growing up
in Miami, it's funny because I was told that he was such a big DJ there and
I was young and I couldn't get in to the club, so to actually do a song with
him, I thought it was cool because I was so young to even like see him play
when I was in Miami. It was an honor.
RS: The video for that song was very Madonna-like, was that sort of on
purpose?
Jessica Sutta: It was directly by Steven Anton and he had this whole idea,
because Paul Van Dyk is from Germany so he wanted to make it have like a
German feel. I think it was a little bit similar to Madonna but it's hard to
emulate Madonna because she's a goddess. He had a really cool vision and he
loved my skin really white, so that's what Steven wanted to do.
RS: You just finished a big show for Beat Stock, how was the event?
Jessica Sutta: That KTU show was so much fun. The crowd was going mad and it
was just cool. People really like "When I Grow Up!" You never know when you
have new material how the fans are going to really respond. We did "Buttons"
and "Don't Cha" and they responded, but when we did "When I Grow Up" it was
like a big response and it really shows that the Pussycat Dolls are back
with a vengeance.
RS: You're referred to as the Pin-Up Doll, where did you get that name
from?
Jessica Sutta: I am in love with pin-ups, I think they are the most
beautiful and alive. Back in the day when they had the little magazines that
were sexy and people would buy them and they always had them hung up. It
emulates the perfect woman and she is not that skinny and she has curves,
she's voluminous and I think that's hot.
RS: Aside from Bettie, who is your favorite pin-up doll?
Jessica Sutta: Oh well you can't, Bettie Page is the best pin-up doll in the
whole wide world. No one is better than her.
RS: What's it like working with Nicole and the rest of the
girls?
Jessica Sutta: It's awesome. It's really rare to be in a group where you
actually get along with everybody, and it's a family and you go to work and
if you have a problem or you feel like crap you know you have your girl -
their shoulder to cry on or advice. I know every day how lucky I am to be in
this group.
RS: Well this is of course a dance music website and I asked for your
favorite DJ – what's your favorite dance out song right now?
Jessica Sutta: I love the Ida Corr "Let Me Think About It." Everytime that
plays in the club I think that's the hottest song ever. I also like "Destination
Unknown" by Alex Gaudino and Crystal Waters, it uses the same "Calabria"
loop as Enur. There's also a classic song called "Plastic Dreams" by Jaydee
that is one of my all time favorites.
RS: Wow, I'm really impressed that you actually know about dance music,
this is really cool.
Jessica Sutta: Oh I love dance music.
RS: Well what about dance music do you love so much?
Jessica Sutta: I think it's sexy, there's just something about it that I
appreciate and I don't know how to explain it. I'd rather listen to dance
music than anything else on the radio anymore. I love that dance music is
coming in to the top forty now and honestly, if I get to do my own album I
would like to cross over to dance music again for radio because it's just
sexy and it's fun.
RS: Of all the Pussy Cat songs what's been your favorite
remix?
Jessica Sutta: I'm going to have to say the remix that Dave Aude did for "When
I Grow Up." It's really fresh and I love the sound that he went with. I just
actually heard it at the gym right now so I'm really excited that they were
playing it.
RS: Awesome. Speaking about gym, are you exclusively at Bally's now?
Jessica Sutta: Yes, I'm at Bally's now.
RS: What would you like to say to all your fans out there?
Jessica Sutta: I love you and make sure to get our album, it comes out
September 23rd. I love dance music and you never know, I might have to
release a dance song when nobody's watching, so search for me.

"When I grow up, I wanna be
famous, I wanna be a star..." sing the Pussycat Dolls on their
part-autobiographical, part-satirical new single. With their debut album
selling seven million copies and yielding no fewer than five top ten hits,
there's little doubt that the girls' dream came true. We called up Kimberly
Wyatt - the Doll on the left with the funky haircut - to find out more about
album number two.
The new single seems to be rather tongue-in-cheek. Was that the intention?
"Um, I think we try not to take ourselves too seriously ever, but at the
same time it does stand for a pretty big message that we've all lived
through. We always believed in our dreams and our passions and as little
girls we always just shot for the stars. This track's like a life story."
A lot of people think you're singing, 'When I grow up I wanna have
boobies...'
"Oh yeah, everybody everywhere is thinking it might possibly be boobies.
It's actually 'When I grow up I wanna have groupies', but I guess I wanted
boobies when I was growing up too so it's fine!"
Maybe it's the shots of boobies in the video that's confusing people.
"Haha! The video was a lot of fun to shoot, but it was also a lot of hard
work. I think we made climbing scaffolding look a lot easier than it really
was."
Do you know why Britney got cut from the video?
"I honestly am not so sure. You shoot a lot of things when you do a video.
Some things stay in but other things don't make the cut and Britney just
didn't make it. I've seen a little clip of her performance and she looked
adorable so I really wish she was in it! Hopefully we'll work together in
the future."
What can we expect from the new album?
"Really it's Pussycat Dolls to the next power. We worked with some really
great producers - Rodney Jerkins, Sean Garrett, Cee-Lo Green, Timbaland.
There's some really uptempo, fun songs but there's also songs that show the
sensitive side of the Pussycat Dolls. We've messed around with a lot of
genres."
What sort of genres?
"Well, there are songs that show the more vulnerable side of the Pussycat
Dolls. The sound is something different than we've really done before, it's
a little more Coldplay-ish. It's kinda got an indie-rock vibe."
Only Nicole had writing credits on the first album. Did you all
contribute this time?
"We definitely all had input. We're all artists and we're all very creative
people and at the end of the day we just want what's best for the group.
This album's really awesome because there's going to be a special edition
where each of us gets a chance to do our own song. And we'll all get a
chance to do our own thing on our next headlining tour, which begins in
January."
Has losing Carmit affected the group?
"It did affect the group because she had huge energy and was an incredible
performer. When you lose an incredible performer everyone else has to fill
those shoes. If anything it's forced us to step up."
You've recently recorded a track with New Kids On The Block...
"Yes! It's awesome because we all grew up listening to New Kids. We were in
rehearsal a couple of weeks ago and all of a sudden they showed up. We were
in shock and didn't really know what to do. We were all like, 'Oh my God
it's New Kids!'"
Are they still sexy?
"Um... I guess sexy in a different way. They have wives and kids now."
They get their tops off in their new video.
"They do?! I don't think I've seen it. I don't know... I never thought they
were real sexy, but my sister was really into them at the time. She had the
bed-sheets and the posters and she really liked Jordan. I'll have to watch
that video I guess."

HERE! So I hope that is True! So let´s read:
The Pussycat Dolls are reportedly set to star in a new musical movie
loosely based on their lives.
The 'Don't Cha' singers - who are no strangers to flaunting their toned
figures in raunchy music videos - are said to be considering scripts which
focus on the history of the band and allow them to showcase their acting
skills.
A source said: "The Pussycat Dolls are getting a lot of film scripts to look
through at the moment. It's going to be semi-biographical, about their rise
to fame, with loads of dancing and singing."
Lead singer Nicole Scherzinger - who has had small roles in hit US TV show 'Sabrina,
the Teenage Witch' and 2003 movie 'Love Don't Cost a Thing' - previously
revealed she is keen to expand the band's empire, and is always interested
in considering new opportunities.
She said: "We really want to take the Pussycat Dolls to the next level. One
of the guests on our new album 'Doll Domination' is Timbaland, so you never
know who might turn up."
Nicole is not the only member of the stunning girl group who has already
experienced life on the big screen. Ashley Roberts, 26, starred in dance movie 'Make It Happen' earlier
this year.
If the project goes ahead, The Pussycat Dolls would be following in the
footsteps of a host of other pop bands to appear in a film.
In 1997, the Spice Girls appeared in the universally-criticised 'Spice World',
while British band McFly appeared as themselves in Lindsay Lohan's 2006
movie 'Just My Luck'.
