• Sad news. When I saw Baron Hiltons tweet „RIP Michael Jackson“ yesterday, I lost my breathe for few sec. I though that it´s can´t happen. But I saw more and more tweets, from Ryan Seacrest and Ashton Kutcher...and then...I cried all night! We lost our king of pop! Sending love and light to family especially his kids.

:: Pussycat Dolls sneaks out to ‘purr’-chase pearls ::

Pussycat Dolls Melody Thornton and Ashley Roberts couldn’t resist doing some last-minute shopping at SM Mall of Asia less than two hours before their “The Pussycat Dolls: A Clear Doll Domination Live in Manila” concert at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds.

The two were spotted Thursday entering a Filipino souvenir specialty shop at about 6:45 pm. The concert was slated to begin at 8 pm.

Although they were said to have been presented with various Filipino items from Igorot wooden statues to coconut wine, Melody and Ashley went directly to the jewelry section where they tried out various pearl earrings and necklaces for half an hour, unmindful of the gathering crowd inside and outside the shop.

According to the sales ladies who attended to them, Melody and Ashley bought 20 pairs of fresh water pearls and a south sea pearl necklace amounting to about 40,000 pesos. They paid for it using Melody’s credit card because Ashley was heard to have said that she forgot hers.

Neither employees of the shop or other shoppers were allowed to take pictures with the Dolls or ask for autographs. Those who tried were held back by the shop’s security personnel and the girls’ entourage numbering eight.

The two must have thought they would be incognito if they wore grey robes while shopping.

However, the bodyguards were a dead giveaway

• The Dolls will celebrate their official afterparty on June 13th at Level 4 Nightclub and Ultra Lounge, after their performance at Honolulu, Hawaii. Doors are open from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. Tickets can only be purchased at the door and are $20.

:: Silverstone, UK concert cancelled ::

• The concert that was due to take place at Silverstone in Northampton,UK on
 Friday 24 July has been CANCELLED according to SeeTickets, PCD are no
 longer set to perform. Those who bought tickets should be refunded in due
 course.
 Due to unforeseen circumstances, the concerts at the Silverstone Classic
 featuring the Pussycat Dolls and Santana have now been cancelled.

There will still be concerts by famous artists but these will now be free and included in the race ticket price for all visitors to the Silverstone Classic. There will be music throughout the day and into the evenings with a succession of artists performing on stage right in the centre
of the infield very close to the Harley-Davidson© Village.

As a result of the changes to the concert programme please note that previously ordered concert only tickets will be refunded in full to the account used to purchase the tickets.
