We meet so many people everyday but there are few that really stick out and
make a difference and touches our lives. We met a young 15 year old girl
with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, named Meagan. What a beautiful soul she is....
She touched my heart so deeply and reminded me of how grateful I am to live
the life I lead. Music, dancing, acting and just entertaining people is what
I love to do and I am living everyday doing that! I want to say "thank you"
to Meagan and her family... You are so precious and a reminder to me that
every second of this precious life god gave us matters!
All my love,
Ashley PCD

• Lady Gaga turned down the chance to join the Pussycat Dolls -
because they weren’t “right” for her. The New York-born singer - who reached
number one in the UK and US with her debut single Just Dance - says pursuing
a solo career was more important to her than joining the popular girl group.
She says, “I was writing tracks for them at the time but I had my vibe and
my own style. “Their style is not mine fashion-wise…it wasn’t right for me.”
Lady Gaga, real name, Joanne Stefani Germanotta, recently spoke of her
determination not to become a one hit one wonder. She said, “I don’t wanna
be one song. I wanna be the next 25 years of pop music.
“But it’s really hard to measure that kind of ambition. That kind of blonde
ambition is looked at with a raised brow, because most artists don’t have
longevity today, especially in fun music that’s about underwear and
pornography and money.”
• Adele has just written a song for the Pussycat Dolls, which is novel
for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is the fact that it gave us a
reason to use the words “Adele” and “Pussycat Dolls” in the same sentence.
Even more interestingly, she hasn’t even handed it off to the group yet, nor
was she asked to write it by some record company type; this is Adele’s very
own voluntary experiment in pop song writing. She can’t sing it herself, she
says, because pop songs don’t agree with her more soulful voice.
Whether the song will ultimately make it into the hands of the Pussycat
Dolls remains to be seen, but if it does, Adele imagines it’ll give the
Dolls a chance to wear what they pretty much always do. And better them than
her, it seems. In a recent interview she’s quoted as saying, “"I think it'll
need bikinis in the video and I don't want to wear a bikini in a video."
• At each Doll Domination tour concert, 4 fans are picked from the
audience where the girls teach you how to do part of the dance. In case you
happen to end up on stage with the Dolls why not try out the moves for
Bottle Pop? Check out a clip of Ashley doing the rountine!

• MTV - The Pussycat Dolls are heading on the road with Britney
Spears this March. And when they do, they have a bit of an agenda:
1. Take over the world, PCD style.
2. Make Britney Spears a new member of the group, since, according to
Kimberly Wyatt, “We’ve done a couple shows with her, and she’s always down
to be a Pussycat Doll.”
3. Teach you, the American public, how to do the “Bottle Pop” dance.
“The PCD girls are going on tour with Britney Spears, so get your tickets,”
Ashley Roberts told MTV News on the set of their new video for “Bottle Pop.”
“We are actually going to be teaching the ‘Bottle Pop’ dance on tour, so
check it out.”
They gave us a quick demonstration of the dance — which, we have to admit,
didn’t really seem all that difficult. (Then again, we’d like to think we
have some rhythm. We are probably wrong.) But we’re not sure if the
booty-popping, hopping and hair swinging works if you’re not wearing glitter
and thigh-high boots.
• Pussycat Dolls Say They're 'Huge Fans' Of Tourmate Lady Gaga
We know Lady Gaga is excited for her European tour with the Pussycat Dolls,
but it turns out the Dolls themselves can't wait to hit the road with the
performance artist and DJ either.
"We are so excited to go on tour with Lady Gaga," Nicole Scherzinger told
MTV News from the set of their "Bottle Pop" video. "We love her music, and
we are huge fans of hers."
• Troy Jensen's blog about the Bottle Pop
photoshoot:
2009 has started with a bang - or should I say a pop, as in "Bottle Pop". I
just finished Nicole Scherzinger's make-up for the new Pussycat Dolls video
"Bottle Pop". I'm really excited about this video. It's everything that the
song is - fun and sexy, just like the make-up I created on Nicole.
I wanted her look to be glossy, sexy, and edgy. Her beautiful honey
complexion was kept glowing and fresh. Her eyes glossy with killer lashes. I
took about 4 different strip lashes and cut them into small pieces that I
applied individually hair by hair. The mouth was an electric, vibrant,
glossy, raspberry pink. To give it the rock star edge, a tattoo artist and I
created an original tattoo of her name down the side of her face. It was
drawn on with liquid liner and black shimmery glitter and accented with
Swarovski crystals This was a very intricate look and I will show you more
when the video debuts. This is more of a photo-shoot of music video look.
For now, I will share what I used on Nicole's juicy, vibrant, "Bottle Pop"
lips.

• PUSSYCAT Dolls have had another
year of Doll Domination with their second album of the same title.
The five-some turned up the raunch factor on Planet Pop to 100 degrees
writhing around in their video for When I Grow Up.
And Nicole Scherzinger, 30, even bagged herself a famous fella in the shape
of 23-year-old motor ace Lewis Hamilton.
DAILY STAR MUSIC: WHAT'S HOT IN THE
CHARTS?
In 2009 they will return to our shores with an arena tour guaranteed to be a
scorcher.
But until then I grabbed Nic and bandmates Melody Thornton, 24, Ashley
Roberts, 27, Jessica Sutta, 26, and Kimberly Wyatt, 26, for a look back on
the past kerazy 12 months...
What was your favourite moment of
2008?
KIMBERLY: Definitely winning an
MTV Video Music Award for When I Grow Up. We won an award in the past for
the PCD album but this was different as it was our second time, and we’d
just come back with the Doll Domination album. We had no clue beforehand.
People think you know but we had no idea.
Any weird fan experiences this year?
KIMBERLY: We don’t have any
weird fans. It’s just been a lot of love and a lot more of them.
What was your favourite album of
2008?
KIMBERLY: My favourite record
would have to be the Duffy album. She has a beautiful voice and that record
hasn’t really been off since it came out. NICOLE: I know it came out the year before but I loved the MIA album
– she is doing something so different and the beats she uses are incredible.
I like the way she has mixed hip-hop beats with traditional south Indian
sounds.
Which was your favourite show to
play?
KIMBERLY: When we did the
American Music Awards it was a big performance and we put a lot of hours and
hard work into it. We had guy dancers with us for the first time which made
it different. The energy and power behind it all was amazing. It was
unforgettable.
How has the band changed this year?
ASHLEY: Things had changed a lot
which is why when we came back with Doll Domination we released When I Grow
Up as the first single. We had all grown up a lot since the first album.
We’ve been out there and toured the world and then we came back as different
people. We had more knowledge of what it’s like to be rock stars. The sound
changed as well, it has a lot more of an R&B flavour and a lot more ballads
on the album.
What have you learnt about
yourselves?
ASHLEY: I really learned to go
inside and ground myself. It’s important for me to meditate every day and
put my mind into perspective into what makes me happy and what’s important
in my life. It’s not a new way of thinking for me but I have made this more
of a priority in my life this year. We see a guru as well in LA and she has
made me open my eyes and heart to a bigger purpose in life.
What would you change about the past
12 months if you could go back in time?
ASHLEY: If I could change
anything I would add an extra month so I could go and see family and friends
as we have been all over the world this year.
What are your plans for New Year’s
Eve?
JESSICA:
I’m going to go home to
Tampa, Florida, to see my family and eat a lot of food and kiss my nieces
and nephews.
Have you made any New Year’s
resolutions?
MELODY:
To not let things get to
me so easily. I get mad about 75 times a day.
Who are you tipping for the top in
2009?
MELODY: Jazmine Sullivan is
someone I will tip. She is amazing. I love Bust Your Windows. She is so
talented and already has five Grammy nominations so she’s definitely going
to be huge.
What can we expect from your 2009
tour?
MELODY: The PCD 0.2. This is the
next level of Doll Domination. We adopted the doll domination slogan on the
last tour but we are living it this year. Everything is going to be much
bigger this time round. And we’re taking guys out with us on tour. And we
have Ne-Yo and Lady Gaga supporting.
Tell me something secret about Ne-Yo?
MELODY: Ne-Yo is just a regular person when he is off stage. He is
just a regular, nice guy.
