FORMER Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts has denied rumours she and Hawthorn AFL
player Josh Gibson are an item.
The 28-year-old blonde bombshell spoke with CC at the weekend telling us she was
'still single and enjoying being single'.
Roberts was thrown into the spotlight last week when it was reported she and
Gibson went on a boozy night out in Melbourne following the Australian Grand
Prix, with witnesses saying they were all over each other.
"Some of my fans had been writing stuff on Twitter so I went and looked at the
articles and couldn't believe it," said Roberts.
"I met him and some other footballers at the Melbourne Cup and we're just
friends who catch up.
"They (the media) took it and had a play with it.
"I was in a long relationship that has ended and I am enjoying being single now."
Roberts was on the Gold Coast last night to make an appearance at SinCity
nightclub alongside Frankie Delgado of MTV's show The Hills.
The singer and wannabe actor has been visiting Australia on and off for several
months but said it was her first time to the Coast.
During thie most recent trip she also launched her range of lingerie, White
Laundry swimwear, specifically designed for the beach.
Roberts told us she has started recording a solo album in the US but has been
travelling back and forth to Australia because she has formed close friendships
here.
She is also been pursuing an acting career with appearances on MTV and E!.

ASHLEY Roberts says there are no hard feelings after she decided to leave pop
sensations the Pussycat Dolls to chase an acting and solo singing career.
Roberts and fellow member Kimberly Wyatt split with the Pussycat Dolls last
month to chase individual ambitions.
The exits follow the departure of Carmit Bachar who quit in 2008.
"It was time to move on and there are no hard feeling because they're like my
sisters," Roberts told CC.
"It was just time for us as individuals to seek our individual careers.
"After seven years together I feel so blessed I got to live out one of my dreams."
