Are The Pussies Back Together?
No, they're still on "hiatus", but they have some big plans for when they
stop kidding themselves and just accept that Nicole Scherzinger is the star.
The group's creator, Robin Antin, is hoping to bring in some big names to
collaborate with the girls, such as Snoop Dogg and Fergie. Robin says:
"As far as women, I'd love to do a collaboration with Fergie. I think
having her on an album would be incredible and something I've always wanted
to do."
One hurdle at a time, Robin. See if you can get the girls to sing together
first. Then, work on getting them relevant again.
Sorry guys, but words like Nicole
Scherzinger is the star???!!! Oh, comon...She´s a lead singer, ok I
agree, but these girls have charizma, talent and the could be more
famous than Nic. I know that. I believe, that Ashley will have amazing
acting carrer in the future and I want to know what Perez will write,
when the time comes!

The Pussycat Dolls may be looking for a few new faces
to join Nicole Scherzinger and co., but they're also looking for a few big
names to collaborate with on their next album.
Work is already under way on the group's follow-up to their 2008 album, Doll
Domination, and the group's creator, Robin Antin, admits there's one Black
Eyed Pea she'd love to get on board for a song or two. "As far as women, I'd
love to do a collaboration with Fergie," Antin told MTV News. "I think
having her on an album would be incredible and something I've always wanted
to do."
Antin would also like to see Snoop Dogg, who worked with the group on past
singles "Bottle Pop" and "Buttons," rejoin the ladies to see what kind of
chemistry they can cook up this time around. "You never know, maybe Snoop
will come back," she said. "He's always someone we love."
Although the record is still in its early phases, Antin said fans will be
pleased with the direction the group's sound is taking. "A couple of the
songs right now that we're working on are absolutely incredible," she said.
"Fun and definitely like a cool, unique sound. It's definitely new and
fresh, and I think everyone's going to love it for sure."
The album's feel isn't the only thing that will be "new and fresh." Antin
also revealed that the group's lineup will have a few shakeups. "It's Nicole
and ... a couple new faces. Some of the girls want to go and do their own
thing. We're moving on. We're excited," she said. "We're looking at new
girls. It's phase three of the Pussycat Dolls because we did our first
album, our second album, and now we're going on to our third. We're touring.
... A lot is coming up."

Very
sad day :( Actress Brittany Murphy is dead after tragically falling into
full cardiac arrest this morning and could not be revived by medical
personnel, according to reports. The New Jersey native was only 32 years
old.
A 911 call was made at 8:00 a.m. from a home in Los Angeles that is
believed to be owned by her husband, Simon Monjack, the L.A. Fire
Department said.
Murphy, whose film credits include Clueless, 8 Mile and Don't Say a
Word, was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and was pronounced dead
on arrival.
Her guest appearance at the Pussycat Dolls Lounge back

Doll Melody Thornton quashed rumors that the group is breaking up a
couple of months back, saying they're just "taking a break," and group
founder Robin Antin issued a statement along the same lines last month.
However, Antin told MTV News on Wednesday (December 16) that when the
girls do return from their hiatus, there will be some "new faces"
joining frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger.
Antin repeated that the group is not breaking up. "There's all these
crazy rumors: Are the Pussycat Dolls breaking up? Everyone asks me," she
said while promoting "Robin Antin's Pussycat Dolls Workout" DVD. "And
the answer is no. The Pussycat Dolls are not at all breaking up. I'm the
creator of the Pussycat Dolls and I own the brand. I'm the first one; I
would be the one to say, 'OK, it's over.' It's so not."
As for the group's lineup, she said, "Nicole is going back in the
studio. We're working on new music right now. There will be a few new
faces in the Pussycat Dolls. I've been really putting that out there.
I'm really excited about it. Inside every girl, inside every woman, is a
Pussycat Doll and I always want to bring in new faces to really show
there are so many Pussycat Dolls out there. It isn't about one forever.
So I'm excited about that."
She didn't reveal who might be leaving, saying, "It's Nicole and a few
... a couple new faces. Some of the girls want to go and do their own
thing. We're moving on. We're excited. We're looking at new girls. It's
phase three of the Pussycat Dolls because we did our first album, our
second album and now were going onto our third. We're touring ... a lot
is coming up."
Antin said she stands behind all the members of the group, past and
present, "100 million percent," noting that she loves them regardless of
their current status with the group. "Nicole, right now, she has been
the face of the Pussycat Dolls," she said. "And she loves it. she's here
and she's with us. She's so talented. So amazing. I'm really happy about
that. So, it's a lot to look forward to."

IT'S
BEEN almost five years since a litter of sex kittens called the Pussycat
Dolls first made their way on to the world stage, with one singing about
stealing other chicks' boyfriends and the other four purring Don't Cha.
But following confirmation that one Doll, pretty blonde Ashley Roberts,
is packing her bags for yet another New Year's Eve in Australia came
news yesterday that the management contracts that tied the girls to each
other expire today - and word is the scantily-clad singing group
fashioned in the style of the Spice Girls are planning to go their
separate ways.
Australia, as it happens, looks to have played a role in the likely
breakup of the group as the women discovered solo nightclub appearances
here are quite lucrative, hence their numerous visits and growing local
fanbase.
With two hit albums and several world tours behind them, close sources
said they were poised to split from record label Universal. All year the
burlesque babes have been dogged by rumours of cattiness within their
ranks, specifically that the "back-ups" - Roberts, Melody Thornton,
Kimberly Wyatt and Jessica Sutta - were tired of living in the shadows
of pin-up performer and top cat Nicole Scherzinger.
While in Oz last month, youngest member Thornton, whose voice has been
compared with that of Christina Aguilera, revealed the girls don't even
get to choose their costumes.
Thornton, who is planning to release a solo album, told Confidential
during her trip that the Dolls were "on a break".
The group's founder, dancer Robin Antin, suggested the Dolls were a
brand, and said they would return with "new music, new concepts, new
faces and hit songs".
Confidential has been told the current members, each with individual
aspirations, are "finished". Roberts, who plans to pursue acting, was
rumoured to be deejaying in 2010 at a party inside Circular Quay's
Toaster.
