Ashley post a new youtube video and I have to say I love it!

For the last few weeks, there’s been a lot of gossip about the Pussycat Dolls breaking up. Last month, band member Ashley Roberts addressed fans telling them it was the last time they would see them perform together.

But the rumors have since been cleared up, and Hollyscoop spoke exclusively with PCD founder Robin Antin at the Palms Hotel and Casino in regards to the future of the group, and what’s coming up next.

We asked about the possibility of Nicole doing a solo album, but Robin said the first order of business is working on the Pussycat Dolls’ third album.

She said, “Not right now. We’re first doing album number three with the Pussycat dolls and there was this whole thing that the Pussycat Dolls are breaking up. Here’s the whole thing: and I twittered this, if the pussycat dolls are breaking up, you’re going to hear it from me because its my group and I am the one that says their breaking up…they’re not breaking up, the truth is the Pussycat Dolls is a brand. The name can live forever. The name is really bigger than all of us.”

As for Nicole eventually branching off and doing her own thing, Robin told Hollyscoop exclusively, “Nicole obviously is our lead singer, we’ll go into the studio and begin recording and some of the other girls will also be recording. Nicole will end up doing her solo thing at some point but it’s not right now.”

Robin also told us that it’s tough sometimes to manage all the girls, because they’d all like to get more face time like Nicole does. But Robin says, “I understand that all the girls want to be seen and heard, and I understand that everyone is here to be your best and achieve your goal of what you’ve been working on your whole life.”

Robin also touched upon a statement made by Melody Thornton, who made her feelings known on stage in her native Phoenix, Arizona in April. As each Doll introduced herself, Melody said: “I want to give a shout out to my family. Thank you for supporting me...even though I'm not featured. Don't give up on your dreams. Don't let anybody stop you - ever.”

Robin says of Melody’s outburst, “Her choice of words I think were probably not completely right in terms of the messages she was trying to get out there. I understand what she was trying to say—all the girls will always try to say something and try to put it in the best possible way as they can. Sometimes it will be taken in another way.”

“I am supportive of all of them and how they feel and what they want, but on the other hand, there’s a reason why Nicole Scherzinger is our lead singer. She is literally one of the most incredible singers and performers that I’ve ever known. She works so hard and practices 24/7, and she takes her dance classes. She works on her voice 24/7, and that’s what it takes to be a star. If you want it and want it that bad, you have to work that hard.”

Well, Robin and the girls are doing something right! They were nominated for a VMA in the Best Choreography category for Jai Ho! Robin recalled the moment she found out about the nomination with us.

Mikey Minden is my co-choreographer, we call each other were like little kids. We were so excited, we’re like screaming jumping up and down going out celebrating just for the nomination alone. I am so proud of everything I do and I am so proud of the girls. I love it. It’s the very beginning. When I hear the Pussycat Dolls on the radio, I go crazy. I call all my friends. I’ll be doing that forever. I appreciate every moment, everyday.”

Since Robin is so good at multi-tasking, we thought she should put herself in the running to take over Paula’s job on American Idol. And funny enough, Robin thinks she’s the perfect replacement too! She told Hollyscoop, It’s interesting you say that. When I heard Paula was leaving, I though, I am the most perfect replacement for her. Just because I am a choreographer, Paula and I are close at the same age, it’s about being a strong woman. I know Paula, I gotta find Simon. I can find talent, I know talent, I might be giving Simon a run for his money.”

We can only imagine!! For now, Robin is busy not only with the PCD, but with her new client Matt Goss, who is gearing up for his new show he’ll be headlining starting in September.

The Pussycat Dolls certainly know how to move on the dance floor — but how about the basketball court? That question will be answered this Saturday when Ashley Roberts of the multi-platinum pop group returns to her childhood home to choreograph routines during tryouts for the Phoenix Suns Dance Team this Saturday.

“I choreographed a lot growing up, but with Dolls I haven't in a while,” says Roberts in a phone interview from her home in California. “I'm excited to get out there and do it again. [The routines] are going to be a little different, a little more current.”

The guest appearance will mark the first time the Suns have ever brought in an outside choreographer of Roberts' level, says Kari Harrick, the new dance team director. “This is a big stepping stone for us,” Harrick says. “The Pussycat Dolls are huge in the dance community because of what they do and the routines they have. We're hoping this will generate more interest in the team and what we're doing.”

With only 16 slots available for the approximately 200-300 dancers who show up for tryouts, the competition will be fierce — especially with what Roberts has in mind. “Kari and I are doing a collaborative effort on the routine. It will have more technique [than in previous years], but with a hip-hop base,” Roberts says. “Dance teams have a different style than what the Dolls do. We're going to do something more stylized, more technique to it, less cheerleader.”

As of now, Roberts' involvement with the dance team will be a one-off gig, though she keeps the door open to the future. “I hope to come back during the season and watch the performances to see how they're doing,” Roberts says. “And Kari and I will stay in touch and play it by ear year to year to see if my schedule will let me do this again. But I'm just excited to do this and hopefully it's a huge start to something.”

Leonardo DiCaprio has got intimate with Pussycat Dolls girl Ashley Roberts- according to tabloid gossip. The pair apparently met at a polo tournament in Surrey, which is not the first place MTV would expect to spot the actor or the raunchy group.

Apparently the stars then hit a West End club where they were spotted canoodling before leaving at the same time. Leo has been in England recently filming Inception- the new movie from The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan.
 

Though already denying speculation they will break up, The Pussycat Dolls were still hit by rumor suggesting they are more keen to pursue a solo career rather than staying in the group. In order to put the claim to an end for good, the band's founder Robin Antin tweeted about working on the Dolls' third studio album.

"The Pussycat Dolls r NOT breaking up.... & IF they ever were, u would hear it from ME 1st," Robin wrote on the social network. "NOT GOSSIP...Album #3 on the way!" Unfortunately, she didn't spill the beans on the album's working title and release date just yet.

The break-up rumor re-appeared after Kimberly Wyatt admitted that Nicole Scherzinger indeed has been dominating the group, and the other Dolls are "hard to deal with [it] sometime." Then, Kimberly added fuel to the rumor when she opened up about crafting her solo studio project.
 

PHOENIX– Taking a break from her headlining European performances, Ashley Roberts of the Pussycat Dolls, will make a stop in her hometown of Phoenix to choreograph & teach the Suns Dancers audition routine on Saturday, August 15.

Roberts is currently touring with the Pussycat Dolls in Europe, where they are the headlining numerous music festivals. Earlier this year, the group was the opening act for Britney Spears during her 2009 Circus Tour throughout the United States & Canada.

Prior to that, Lady Gaga & Ne-Yo opened for the group on their International Headline Tour. The Pussycat Dolls’ current album “Doll Domination” is on sale now & features their hit singles “When I Grow Up” & “Hush Hush.”

A Phoenix native, Roberts started dancing when she was three & singing when she was nine. Eight years ago, just out of high school, she headed for L.A. & within six months she was a Pussycat Doll.

Those interested in becoming a member of one of the premiere NBA Dance Teams are encouraged to audition for the 2009-10 Suns Dancers. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Casino Arizona Pavilion at US Airways Center on Saturday, August 15.

Prior to auditions, each candidate must attend a minimum of one prep class in order to fully prepare each dancer for the audition process. Dancers must be 18 or older to participate, & bring a non-returnable photo & resume.
